2025 Fall Recital
Thank you to all the students, parents, families, and staff who joined us for the Memorial Music 2025 Fall Recital. The event was a success and it was inspiring to see our students perform live in front of a full audience. We are already preparing for our Spring Recital, planned for April 2026, and look forward to sharing more details soon.
Updates to Our Lesson Structure for 2026
As we enter 2026, we are making a few adjustments to our music and tutoring lesson rates. Beginning in January, monthly tuition will be $189 for 30-minute weekly lessons, $284 for 45-minute lessons, and $378 for 60-minute lessons. These updates come after careful review of rising business expenses. Our commitment to quality instruction remains the same, and our rates continue to be competitive for professional music and academic tutoring in the Memorial area. We appreciate your trust and thank you for being part of our community.
Remaining 2025 Holiday Schedule
As a reminder, our holiday schedule for the end of the year is as follows:
- Teacher holidays will be observed from December 22 through January 2.
- The last day of lessons for the calendar year will be Saturday, December 20.
- Regularly scheduled lessons will resume on Saturday, January 3.
Free Monthly Group Classes
There will be no group class in December due to the holiday break. This is a great month for students to stay connected to their music in simple, enjoyable ways. We encourage families to invite students to share a piece or two at gatherings or holiday events. Performing for family and friends builds confidence and helps students stay motivated during the break.
School may be out, but practice is still in. Regular practice, even in short sessions, also helps students return in January feeling prepared and confident. Thank you for supporting your student’s progress throughout the holiday season.
Holiday Music Around Houston
The holiday season is a great time for students and families to experience live music together. Here are two family-friendly Houston Symphony events that can help keep students inspired during the December break.
