Jordan Hudson has been teaching guitar at Memorial Music since 2002. He studied music theory at the University of North Texas and has been playing guitar for more than 20 years. Along with his teaching career, Jordan has been active in the local music scene, performing with several bands over the years.
He is a member of the rock and blues band Buffalo Bayou, which released an album of original music in 2010 featuring songs he composed and collaborated on. Jordan is proficient in a wide range of styles including rock, blues, pop, jazz, country, folk, fingerstyle, and contemporary praise and worship. As a teacher, he focuses on helping students develop their individual musical goals, whether that includes learning songs, improving technique, understanding music theory, composing, reading music, or preparing for performance.
