Summer Lesson Package Options

We’d like to encourage all of our students to continue their musical education throughout the summer. We understand that this may not always be possible due to travel schedules, vacations, and other summer activities.

If you are going to miss part or most of the summer, we have options for 4, 6, or 8 week lesson packages that can be used at any time during the months of June, July, and August.

These lessons can be scheduled at any time over those 3 months and do not have to be on a consistent day or time each week, helping accommodate busy summer schedules.

Package Rates:
4 Lessons – $189
6 Lessons – $283.50
8 Lessons – $378

Please keep in mind that this scheduling flexibility is only available during the months of June, July, and August, as we must charge to hold regular lesson time slots throughout September through May.

For guitar players, it is very important to maintain finger calluses because once those are gone, it can feel almost like starting over and students must work through fingertip pain again.

For piano players, many skills and music theory concepts can be lost after being away from the instrument for 2 to 3 months.

Please consider our lesson package options as an alternative to taking a break for the entire summer. Thanks!

Spring Rock Band Performance

Just a reminder that our annual Rock Band Performance will be held:

Date: Sunday, May 17
Time: 10:00 AM to about 1:00 PM
Location: Danelectros in the Heights

Our students have been working very hard, and it’s going to be a fun and entertaining event.

All Memorial Music students and their families are welcome to attend.

6 Week Drum Technique Course

This summer, we will be hosting a 6 Week Drum Technique Course with our drum instructor, Adriano.

Start Date: Thursday, June 4
End Date: Thursday, July 9
Day: Thursday
Time: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Cost: $250

This group course is designed for students of all ages and focuses on building a strong foundation in coordination, proper technique, and posture in a fun and supportive environment.

Students will learn how to hold sticks correctly, develop balanced hand and foot coordination, and maintain good playing posture to prevent strain and improve control. Through guided practice with a metronome, participants will strengthen their sense of timing and rhythm while gradually increasing speed and endurance.

The course also introduces essential rudiments such as single strokes, double strokes, and basic patterns, helping students build confidence and musical fluency.

By the end of the program, students will have improved their technical skills, timing accuracy, and overall comfort at the drum kit.

Free Monthly Group Class

Our group class for the month of May will be on Sunday, May 31 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

This will be a group class with our drum instructor, Adriano. He will cover a variety of styles, with a primary focus on Brazilian music and rhythms.

This is a very fun class for those who have not yet attended. All current students are welcome!
