🎶 2025 Fall Recital – Save the Date!
We’re excited to announce our 2025 Fall Recital will be held on Sunday, November 16th, from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Cullen Hall at St. Thomas University.
This special afternoon of music will feature three sessions:
- Session A: 2:00–3:30 PM
- Session B: 3:30–5:00 PM
- Session C: 5:00–6:30 PM
Sign-up forms are available at the front desk. Please indicate your preferred session when you sign up — if no preference is listed, we’ll assign one for you.
The recital fee is $50 per family, due by Saturday, November 8th. This also serves as your registration deadline, so be sure to sign up early to reserve your spot!
We can’t wait to celebrate our students’ hard work and musical growth together!
🎹 Updates to Our Lesson Structure for 2026!
As we prepare for the upcoming year, we want to let you know about some adjustments to our lesson structure for 2026. Starting in January 2026, there will be a small adjustment to our lesson rates. This change helps us maintain the high-quality instruction and supportive learning environment that our students and families count on.
New monthly rates for weekly lessons:
- 30-minute lessons: $189/month
- 45-minute lessons: $284/month
- 60-minute lessons: $378/month
We make these decisions with great care, always balancing the realities of business expenses with our commitment to keeping lessons accessible and valuable. Memorial Music remains proud to offer some of the most competitive rates for professional music and tutoring instruction in the Memorial area.
Most importantly, we are deeply grateful for your continued trust. Your support allows us to nurture creativity, confidence, and a love of learning in every student who walks through our doors. We can’t wait to see all the wonderful music our students will make in 2026!
📅 Holiday Reminder
As we head into the holiday season, here are our remaining teacher holidays for 2025:
- Thanksgiving Week (11/24 thru 11/29, following SBISD schedule)
- Winter Break: December 22 – January 2
Please mark your calendars. A few minutes of practice over the break goes a long way—students return feeling confident and ready for the new year! 🎶
Free Monthly Group Classes!
November’s Group Class will be held on Sunday, November 23rd, from 1:00–2:00 PM.
This session will be taught by one of our talented guitar instructors, James, who will guide students through the intro riff and verses of “Crazy Train.”
All current students are welcome to join! It’s a great chance to learn something new, play alongside fellow musicians, and have fun together.
