This is a Used 1951 Gibson SJ-200 Vintage Acoustic Guitar. We are selling this Guitar for a customer of ours. He is getting older now and really trying to consolidate his collection. It hasn't been played in over 20 years, and for being as old as it is, the Guitar is in Excellent Shape! The Guitar does have a Finish crack that starts just below the Bridge, and runs all the way down to the Bottom bracing. I have verified that this is just a split in the Finish, and it's not in the Wood. It also has a Finish gouge just below the Pick Guard. Both can be seen in the photos. There are a few other Nicks and Scratches on the Top, Back, and Sides, but the rest I would consider Minor. 100% Original as far as I know. The Neck has a Slight bit of relief. Not perfectly straight, but still in good shape. The Guitar plays really well. Sounds amazing. Serial Number on the inside of the Neck Block is 9733 15.
The SJ-200 is known as the King of the Flat Tops. It has a Solid Sitka Spruce Top, with Solid Stained Maple for the Back and Sides. Traditional Hand Scalloped X Bracing. Lacquer Finish. Comes with the Original Hard Case as far as I can tell. FREE SHIPPING WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES ONLY! PLEASE INQUIRE ABOUT SHIPPING COSTS TO ANY OTHER LOCATION!
